"Trexy.com - a newcomer to Online - won the Best Speciality Search category. Developed by brother and sister team Megan and Nigel Hamilton, it's the first search engine to interoperate with thousands of online databases to remember and share individual searchers' search trails.

'We had actually been working on internet businesses since 2001 and have had a few dotcom busts up until this point', Megan Hamilton told Gazette. 'We gave up our jobs, we stuck our heads together and we've come up with this search engine.'

Trexy clearly sees its first Online show as a good testing ground. 'There are a lot of new features that we are looking to add in and we will be launching a new version of Trexy hopefully before the end of this year,' Megan explains. 'I think generally the attendees here are quite happy to see something new and are open to new challenges as well, which is good to see.'"
