London based Trexy.com Search Engine announced today the launch of a new technology inspired by scientist and visionary, Dr. Vannevar Bush, who in the 1940's shared his vision of creating a collective memory by recording peoples' trails through information.

Trexy will implement the major part of Vannevar Bush's grand vision described in his 1945 seminal work, 'As We May Think.' In his visionary paper, Bush posited a device called a 'Memex', an enhanced supplement to personal and community memory created by trail blazers, "those who find delight in the task of establishing useful trails through the enormous mass of the common record." (Bush's Paper).

"Current search engines keep no memory of your last search. Each day millions of searches are conducted and human searchers sift through millions of pages to find what they're looking for. What if a search engine could harness all this human effort? A way of recording all the trails spent looking through the common record of the Web," Nigel Hamilton, inventor and CEO of Trexy.com said.

"Through historical accident or omission the major thrust of Vannevar Bush's vision has remained unrealised, that is, until now," the inventor said.

This vision has now become a reality. Trexy is in research and development now and will move out into BETA later this year.

A patent is pending for this technology.
